The city is perfect if you just want to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Especially in the evening there are many restaurants where you can enjoy a very good meal and drinks for approx 55 eur (3 pers)
Very important: follow that they bring to the table everything that you’ve ordered because they may miss to bring but then they will put it on your bill. It happened to me in Masa Soura - they realised the mistake (that the’ve made me pay for something that never arived at the table) but said they will fix it next time I came. Still, when I returned 2 days later, even though I reminded them, they pretended not to understand.
Very good meal I’ve had at Maratos and Oyzeri
It is easy to travel by bus in the city- you can take the ticket from the bus driver with 1.7 eur/ pers

Lovely city with lots of things to do.
Lovely city with lots of things to do. Great for a vacation and for enjoying Greek cuisine. :) I love that after 20:00 they are closing one main street and it gets crowded with people and nice restaurants. Very vivid city and at the same time you can find a chill place to stay. There is everything for everyone.

I love Alexandroupolis.
I love Alexandroupolis. I have been visiting since I was a child. We always had so much fun with family and friends. The beaches in Agia Paraskevi are beautiful. It’s a great city for families. It has great shops and great eateries. The people are very friendly!
Alexandroupolis is easy to navigate on foot. There is bus service to all the beaches.
Some great eateries are Zourafa, Yialos, and Sarikas known for their good seafood., Kokoraki for the best chicken souvlaki or gyro sandwiches. All the cafes are great! Flisvos cafe has great loukoumades. Kerouac is a cafe but also serves a great brunch!

The city is small and everything is reachable by a 10 minute walk. Restaurants and cafes are good quality and prices are not very high (coffee 2 euros etc). By ten minutes drive, you can arrive beautiful beaches of Makri village.

If you eat the same meal here as you had in Thessaloniki, you will definitely pay twice the price. Car parking is a serious issue. If you want to eat in an overcrowded decent place, you need a reservation.

We love everything about the house. Especially cleaning of the house was perfect. Location was also great, very near to best restaurants, cafes and other places, every important places are just a walk away. From Wi-Fi to netflix all opportunities work perfectly. This house gives the best what it offers. House owner Sakis is so kind and helpful. We are very delighted to stay here, strongly recommended. This house will be always in my first choice for the Alexandroupoli.
Breakfast was good. There were many options to eat, and fresh orange juice. The city is problematic for parking spaces but the hotel had allocated spaces for the guests' cars. The staff was amiable and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. However, to enjoy the beaches, you must go by car or taxi which takes around 10 minutes.
Hotel reception staff is very helpful and gentle.I think the best of the hotel.
