Experience the traditional flavours of the cretan cuisine by immersing yourself in special cretan recipies made with ingredients that nature freely offers or are produced in the area. The cooking classes take place in our family's 'metochi' cottage on the mountains made by stone and wood. You can contact us for further informations via email. 2. Grape Harvesting. During the period from 20 August to 25 September we harvest our family's grape production. We have a variety of grape species such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah , Malvazia Aromatica di Candia , Vilana, Assyrtiko, Soultani, Muscat Spinat. We take you through the process of harvest, pressing till the final product of wine with the help of our friend and upcoming wine producer Giorgos Zidianakis. Our area is known since the minoan times as a wine producing area. Nowadays the area hosts more than four wineries. Lyrarakis, Paterianakis, Digenakis and Zidianakis winery. Depending on the time frame of your visit there are a lot of possibilities in the surrounding area. The selection is always subject to change as the weather conditions are of great importance.

The siblings Voutoufianakis decided to embark on this adventure of hospitality and reveal the beauty of Crete, their homeland. Being raised in the rural area of Pediada they try to discover ways to initiate the visitors to the real spirit and authenticity of the Cretan land. Both of them dream to transmit the cretan culinary experience, the admiration for the cretan landscape, the humbleness that working the land can offer the cultural construction and music that makes this small piece of land surrounded by the sea so special. Stella is a creator performer and singer. She enjoys traditional cretan stone building and working in the countryside. Rafail is a personal trainer and admirer of the wild beauty of cretan land. He always finds new places to visit and an excuse to enjoy a delicious meal.

Our neighbourhood is situated outside the village of Agies Paraskies with direction towards Meleses. It is quiet during all times of the day. The neighborhood is quiet and you can walk around . There is space for two cars in the property. Rental car is necessary if you want to move around and explore.
