The ancient Leivithra, the castle of Platamon, the old Panteleimon, and the ancient Dion are exceptionally interesting attractions in the area. Litochoro, at the foot of Olympus, offers the opportunity to visit the monastery of Saint Dionysius, both the old and the new. And if you're up for it, you can climb Mytikas, which is the highest peak of Mount Olympus.
