A dreamy cottage in walking distance – 1km - from the sea, the amazing fjord of Vathy. The house is surrounded by a spacious garden full of figs, prickly pears, almond, olive and lemon trees, therefore is also pet friendly. The house itself is consisted of a comfortable kitchen with a sitting area in one open room, two bedrooms with queen size beds and a bathroom. A continuous veranda is offering panoramic views of the valley and the village of Vathy. The elevated location of our property offers excellent panoramic views of Vathy from both inside and outside the house. The beautiful garden allows our guests to relax in nature and enjoy the view.The entrance of our property and the road that leads to our house allows you to park two cars and as many bikes and scooters as you like.
I am a literature teacher and I love to travel. I have recently moved to Klaymnos with my family and started working in it's public Hospital as an administration employee. Studying literature, watching theater or movies and hiking are my favourite hobbies. My moto is: "Carpe diem"!
The turquoise fjord of Vathy, which is said to be the most beautiful in the Aegean, with its world-famous sea sponges, goes deep inside the full of citrus fruit valley of the homonymous village. Beautiful landscapes for walking, clear blue seas for snorkeling or scuba-diving, well hidden beaches for exploration in a kayak/canoe, slopes of unique quality limestone rocks for climbing, ancient and byzantine monuments to visit and the warm-hearted hospitality of the inhabitants are just some of the pleasures and worthwhile visiting sights that await the visitor not only in Vathy but in Kalymnos as a whole. Just make sure you won’t miss it!
