Originally trained as a Pastry Chef, I have a deep passion for hospitality and have had the privilege of working in some of Greece and Europe's top hotels, restaurants, and pastry shops. Currently, I divide my time between the idyllic island of Corfu and the stunning mountains of Davos, Switzerland. Growing up in Agios Matthaios, Corfu, and having lived in vibrant cities like Athens, Mykonos, and Thessaloniki, I have been exposed to diverse cultures and experiences that have shaped my love for meeting people from all walks of life. When I'm not in the kitchen, you'll find me on the slopes, indulging in my passion for snowboarding, or crafting furniture from wood. Eloise Apartments are ideally situated near the village, where you'll find everything you need, including bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. Nature lovers can explore the nearby mountain trails, which are easy and take around 45-60 minutes to reach the top. The closest trail starts just 50 meters from the apartments and leads to Pantocrator Monasteri. Take a stroll through the charming old part of the village and admire the historic houses dating back to 1850. Relax with the locals at the traditional café called "Kosampelis" in the village center, where you can treat yourself to a local dessert called "bolsevico" and a Greek coffee, while enjoying the cool breeze under the majestic plane trees. The village is surrounded by beautiful beaches, with Skala or Paramonas being the closest, only 3 kilometers away. These quiet family beaches are perfect for relaxation. Explore the hidden gem of Agios Nikolaos beach, located just after Skala beach, and don't hesitate to ask the locals for directions. Prasoudi is another family-friendly beach with stunning scenery and a lovely family tavern nearby. Chalikounas is the largest beach in the area, offering a well-organized setting, although it can get crowded. However, due to its size, you can easily find a spot to enjoy some solitude, even during the busiest months. Don't miss the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sunsets here. If you visit between September and October, head to Lake Corision on the other side of the beach, where you might spot resting flamingos and heron birds, adding a touch of natural beauty to your stay.
