Stamni is an ideal place for either couples or families to relax and to connect with the authentic cretan way of life. The main square is at a 3 min walking distance from home, so are the 2 taverns of the village, well-known for their great cuisine. Episkopi village: 3 min drive(closest place with super-market, cafeterias, etc.) Around the village there is plenty of possibilities for activities of any taste: Karteros beach is at 10 min driving distance, so is the Karteros gorge where you can enjoy a pleasant hike along with family. Neraidospilio cave is also very close and is worth a visit to connect with nature. For the younger members of the family Watercity Waterpark in Anopolis is fully recommended.
