Other popular beaches are Agnontas which is the port, Limnonari, Panormos, Milia, Kastani, Hovolo, Armenopetra, Perivolou, Glysteri, St. Constantine, St. John and many others. If you desire to discover all you need is to rent a bike or car and several of them are on bus routes and may need to travel on dirt road. The beauty of the scenery and deserted beaches will reimburse you. In the northwest lies the picturesque village of Glossa, at an altitude of 300 meters, that is long enough to offer a beautiful view of the sea with beautiful sunsets. There are other villages and settlements, like Elios or New Klima, the Old Klima. In Skopelos you will find beautiful old monasteries and temples, as the Church of the Annunciation, the Virgin Mary, St. Nicholas, the Diocese of Skopelos with its church dedicated to Mary, the monasteries of St. Barbara, St. Riginos and many others worth seeing up close.
