Part of a 3-unit property estimated to be over 300 years old, the Guest House is a unique, charming 3-room cottage that originally functioned as a bakery in the village. It consists of 3 rooms: a living area with 2 built-in sofa/beds (providing sleeping accommodation for two), the actual bakery oven which has been converted into a unique double bedroom, and a small kitchen/sitting area. The bathroom is newly renovated in a Cycladic style and is accessed through the double bedroom. The unit opens out to the the large front patio with expansive views of the Aegean, the village and the surrounding mountains.

Hi!. I've had the great fortune to live and make my home on this beautiful island for many years. I've always loved fixing and restoring things so this property has provided lots of opportunities to add my personal touches. By profession I am a teacher. Through the years I've had the great opportunity to live in several countries and to host many interesting people from all over the world. I was drawn to Greece long ago (I believe it was from a previous lifetime!) & have always been impressed with Greek hospitality.... that is something I try to replicate with everyone who stays here. I feel as if they are my own, personal guests.My goal is to help guests get a taste of the Greece I know and love.

The European Union has designated the village a ‘traditional settlement’ in an effort to preserve its distinct character. As a result of the earthquake of 1956 ,it was largely destroyed but in the last few years many houses have been restored or converted to provide accommodation .Despite that, there remains a tranquility not seen in much of the island. You will still be able to marvel at the examples of 'cave' dwellings with their unique design and if you're lucky , hear the church bells in the centre of the village.. Just down the road, you can choose from two wineries for wine tasting or sample then many varieties of beer offered at the Donkey Brewery (Santorini Brewing Company) Just a little further is the Cine Camari Open Air cinema- voted one of the top 10 in Europe.
