I love hosting and meeting new people. I can help guests book a car from the airport to the port of Lavrio, I can help by booking their ferry boat tickets. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats a day going to and from the island, but unfortunately the ferry boat companies do not release the times of the boats till about the end of March. I have managed to get the times by early January. I can also help by renting a car on the island for guests. I do not charge a fee for any of the above. I can also give tips on restaurants, places to visit etc., I can also arrange for a pre stocked fridge if guests wish.

The house is set in the upper part of Ioulida, the main town/village of the island, just a 10 minute walk from the famous Leon statue, a giant stone carving of a lion made about 500 BC. To get to the house, you go to the top part of Ioulida, where there is a parking area (parking not always available) and walk down to house, about 6 minutes. As cars are not allowed in Ioulida, there is a donkey, called Leon, who will carry your luggage for you until the steps/stairs near the house. For those that want to experience the real island feel, this house is ideal!! The house, which is on two levels and is 80sq meters, has been completely renovated to the highest standards. The entrance is on the first floor and has a living room with a flat screen TV, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Near the living area is a bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower. Leading off the living room are stairs leading to the master bedroom suite with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and a small utility room. The house also has a kettle, Heating panels, blender, juice extractor, espresso coffee machine, toaster, refrigerator, freezer, internet, washing machine etc

Kea features traditional Cycladic architecture, a number of important archaeological sites and picturesque villages steeped in local customs. Ioulis, which is the main village/town of the island, has cobbled narrow roads (no cars are allowed in the town) with restaurants, cafes, shops etc., beautiful and picturesque. Guests might also want to visit the the Lion of Kea, Leon, which is a stone carving made about 500BC, roughly a 15 minute walk frmo the house.
