Forget what day it is in this unique, extremely bright and spacious traditional Cycladic village house built from stone and marble in the serene and friendly environment that is the famous village of Apeiranthos, known for the hospitality, local food, hiking routes, exceptional views and incredible nearby wild beaches of the East coast. The house is a tranquil getaway with fantastic views and close to the great tavernas in the village and a plethora of hiking routes and remote wild beaches on the Moutsouna coastline nearby. Although the listing is for 1 or 2 people per-room, there are actually 3 double bedrooms in the house, so please ask if you need availability for more people. If you only rent one room, you might actually have the whole house to yourself during your stay anyway, depending on demand. Either way, the house is always quiet, as guests tend to be out most of time. With foundations dating back to the 17th Century it is a very cozy house, the thick stone and marble walls keeping it nice and cool during the summer months and mosquito free due to the clean environment and constant breeze. When you open the wooden shutters, the light comes pouring into the house. The house comes fully furnished and equipped. All mattresses, pillows and protectors are new and the beds are very comfortable. There is a Spanish guitar, professional snorkelling equipment, a chess board and new yoga mats at your disposal. You can practice some yoga on the roof whilst enjoying the view over the valley and to the sea over breakfast.

I am Anglo-French, from London, currently living in Greece. I work as a consultant for the United Nations and travel quite often. I like my sports, running, swimming, tennis, diving, yoga and enjoy hiking. I also play classical guitar. If available, I like to guide my guests to the great wild beaches and villages nearby. A tour of the island by 4x4 is also available. When you come to Apeiranthos, you can do yoga on the roof and there are many great hiking trails starting from the village, including to the highest mountain in the Cycladic region, Zas Mountain! Whether I am at the house or not during your stay, I will be available for anything you need. When staying at the house, it is your house, so make yourself comfortable and help yourself to coffee, teas and other light refreshments.

Apeiranthos is called the ‘Marble Village’ and the ‘Jewel of the Cyclades.’ It boasts fantastic hospitality, spectacular views and is famous for its tavernas selling only local produce, its gastronomy in general and for its friendly residents. There are many great beaches on the amazing coastline South of Moutsouna, which is a 15 minute drive away, with spectacular views en-route! There are no numbered addresses in Apeiranthos village, but it is not so big and everything is easy to find. Simply park in the car park next to the church and walk through the pedestrianised part of the village past all the cafés and tavernas and ask for Bruce's house, which is just before the old bakery and right opposite Aeriko café. Voila!
