We moved to Wassells house in 2012, my husband fully renovated the property to provide modern and upgraded facilities. I have worked for many years as a cook in local cafes and am looking forward to using my skills to make your stay both enjoyable and hassle free. As a coeliac I understand the importance of dietary needs.

We are situated in Cheddar with easy access and parking. All rooms have USB socket, Dining table and chairs, kettle, fan and information folder. There is a shared kitchenette for your use with Fridge, Microwave, Toaster and boiling water tap, there is a Dining room for those wanting a home cooked meal from the menu. The property is within easy driving distance for Bath, Wells, Wookey hole, Glastonbury, Bristol, Bristol airport, The Somerset levels, Weston Super Mare and the Somerset coastline. All food is prepared in the same kitchen but with my knowledge I will do my very best to prevent any cross contamination when preparing and cooking for special dietary needs and preferences. I have options for Gluten free, Dairy free. Vegetarian and Vegan on the menu. We include Cereal yogurts and fruit juice within the price. For an additional charge you can chose to have a home cooked breakfast from the menu.

We are situated within easy walk of Cheddar Gorge and all amenities. The reservoir with plenty of wildlife is a short stroll away as is the Strawberry line which is a pretty walk or cycle from Cheddar to Yatton, going through the medieval town of Axbridge. There is a small play area on the adjoining Estate and a pump track, Skate park and playing fields just beyond. Cheddar Gorge and the surrounding Mendip hills are an ideal place for Cyclists and Walkers to enjoy.
