We are a family run business, originally starting out as a B&B in the main farm house many years ago! Over the years it has evolved, and Valley View Farm now consists of 6 old style country self catering cottages which are set on the family's working farm. We live onsite in the farmhouse which means someone is always on hand should you need us. Thank you.

Six stone built, self-catering holiday cottages situated in the beautiful, rural, surroundings of Old Byland, near Helmsley, North Yorkshire. Set on a working farm. Stunning views and beautiful walks right on the doorstep. An ideal base to explore Yorkshire or to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Friendly, affordable accommodation. The cottages have free WiFi and are heated by a biomass boiler. All of the cottages have En suite bedrooms so no more waiting for the bathroom!

Beautiful walks in all directions from the front door in beautiful countryside situated within North York Moors National Park. Also not far from numerous pubs and restaurants in nearby Helmsley and neighbouring villages including two Michelin starred restaurants in nearby villages. Unique landmarks nearby include The White Horse at Kilburn, Gormire Lake and Sutton Bank. Situated near both Flamingo Land and Lightwater Valley and also Forbidden Corner so fantastic for families.
