The Wood Cottage has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Scarborough, 14 km from Peasholm Park. Located 14 km from The Spa Scarborough, the property provides a garden. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Every unit features a seating area with a TV, and some of them have a DVD player and a CD player. Units have a kettle and a private bathroom with a shower and bathrobes, while some rooms also boast a fully equipped kitchenette fitted with an oven. The Wood Cottage is on the edge of the small village of Brompton-by-Sawdon, mid-way between Scarborough and Pickering. The Balcony room has a fabulous view of the Vale of Pickering through floor to ceiling windows. It is a country deluxe feel with a large smart tv, wifi, a small room fridge. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath with a bluetooth speaker to fully relax. The cabin is a beautiful cosy room with a log burner, and a kitchenette. With views down the garden. Both rooms have breakfast served in the cottage lounge.
I live with my husband David at the cottage. We love The Wood Cottage and enjoy guests visiting us. We have run the cottage as a holiday cottage for years and now have changed to bed and breakfast so we are there for guests.
Our cottage is well placed for people wishing to explore the superb scenery of the North York Moors National Park, and the seaside resorts on the east coast. Brompton-by-Sawdon is a delightful country village situated between Scarborough and Pickering. This wonderfully scenic location, with its stone-built cottages, village butcher, and historic church is ideally placed for discovering the countryside, and not far to visit Whitby, Dalby Forrest and many more. A little further afield the historic market town of Malton offers quaint shopping streets, whilst the famous family beaches and seaside attractions of Scarborough are within easy reach. Although a small village there is 128 bus that links Pickering to Scarborough. There is a train station at Scarborough where a connecting bus just outside the station brings you to a bus stop a 200 yards or so away from The Wood Cottage . A stay at The Wood Cottage is a great base to explore North Yorkshire. If you bring your bikes we have bike racks too.
