Set on the banks of the River Wye, The Saracens Head Inn offers light, modern rooms with free WiFi and private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy freshly cooked breakfasts and seasonal meals. Rooms at The Saracen feature tea/coffee facilities and a TV. Most rooms also offer lovely river views. The inn serves a lunch menu, including sandwiches and organic baguettes. Evening meals are cooked with fresh, local ingredients and served in the informal dining room or riverside terraces. The bar, with its traditional flagstone floors and pine tables, serves local real ales and a selection of ciders and wines. Free parking is available at The Saracen, and the local are of Symond’s Yat is full of scenic river and countryside walks. Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are both less than 10 minutes’ drive away. The Forest of Dean is a 15-minute drive.
