The Pods at Streamvale is a recently renovated campground in Gilnahirk, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The campground provides guests with a terrace, garden views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, and a private bathroom with hot tub and bathrobes. There is also a fridge, kitchenware and a kettle. At the campground, units include bed linen and towels. This land has been in our family for over 300 years. Like many farms over the years, we have chosen to continually diversify. In the 1930s, we began delivering milk around homes in East Belfast. We used to train racehorses here too. In the mid-eighties, locals could forage strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and gooseberries on the land. Two years later, we opened Streamvale Farm to the public and it has been growing ever since. This land and our family legacy are at the heart of everything we do. Our grandfather’s memories above are reminiscent of our own childhoods. ‘Tuesday’s at Granny’s’ sums up the atmosphere we experienced growing up. Every man and his dog would pop in for tea, soup and a sandwich. The overriding policy is “Everyone is Welcome’’ We want others to experience some of this Belfast hospitality, which is why we opened to the public, and why we’ve launched The Pods at Streamvale. We hope that you’ll forge your own memories of this little place that we call home.
