The Old Byre is a detached barn conversion on the edge of the village of Caynham just three miles from Ludlow. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with en-suite bath and one twin bedroom with en-suite shower. Also in the cottage is a fitted kitchen with dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove and French doors. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a decked garden with furniture and BBQ. Situated in the heart of south Shropshire, The Old Byre is a lovely family cottage all year round.

The village's outstanding landmark is Caynham Camp, a huge Bronze Age/Iron Age earthwork which covers a site of eight acres at the summit, from which wonderful views can be enjoyed. Only 3 miles away is Ludlow, whose medieval street pattern remains almost intact, and provides a fascinating backdrop for the town's regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle.
