Formally an 18th century coaching inn, The Fleece Inn includes original features such as old oak beams and fireplaces. Lancaster city centre is a 15-minute drive, and the university is just 6km away. Free private parking is available on site. The award-winning restaurant at The Fleece Inn serves traditional British cuisine, with international dishes also available. The steak and ale pie is homemade with local ale. A full English breakfast is also served in the dining room. Free Wi-Fi, a TV and a private bathroom are featured in each room. A resident’s lounge including a TV and internet access is also provided. The Yorkshire Dales and The Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are located just 30 minutes’ drive from The Fleece. The village of Dolphinholme is 10-minute walk away, and is a designated historic conservation area.
