Resting in a wonderful location near the owner's home, The Daffodil Shed is a vibrant retreat in a charming part of England. Just upstream from Bere Alston on the river Tamar is Morwellam Quay, a tiny harbour where half the world’s copper travelled through in the 1860s, and which is now a popular visitor attraction telling the story of copper mining through history. Trains run between Bere Alston and Plymouth, on the picturesque Tamar Valley line, following the river for much of the route. Bere Alston has a village shop and pub and there are plenty of countryside walks.
