Byre Cottage is a delightful recently converted farm building, directly opposite our B&B and maintains traditional features with a lovely rustic feel in a contemporary style. Situated on the edge of the idyllic and picturesque village of Lympstone, nestled along the shore of the Exe Estuary and just a short distance from the thriving coastal town of Exmouth and just 8 miles from Exeter. On entering this beautifully dressed barn conversion, you are greeted by the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area which boasts original features such as exposed beams throughout the downstairs. After a day of exploring all that South Devon has to offer, why not cosy up in front of the TV. Leading off the lounge area, up a couple of steps is a well-appointed kitchen, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The shower room with WC which is accessed via a couple of steps is located downstairs adjacent to the staircase. Following on up the staircase, you will find two bedrooms, one with king size bed and one twin. Outside is a small enclosed courtyard area with table and chairs and a small walled garden area for relaxing or dining.

The idyllic village of Lympstone offers a village shop, Post Office, cafe and four thriving pubs. Michael Caine's two Michelin Starred fine dining experience at Lympstone Manor is on our doorstep. The Exe Estuary Trail is popular and perfect for walkers and cyclists. The thriving seaside town of Exmouth is close by with two miles of golden sandy beach, bustling town and seaside attractions. Exe Watersports with all that it has to offer is close by. Darts Farm with its farm shop is within easy reach as is the estuary town of Topsham. The Exe River cafe (seasonal opening hours) is accessed via boat or the ferry and is well worth a visit. The historic Cathedral City of Exeter is a short drive, train or bus ride away. For National Trust lovers A La Ronde is on our doorstep and Killerton House just a short car ride away. We are well served by regular bus routes and train services to Exmouth, Exeter and further afield. We are situated on the Exe Cycle Trail and the SW Footpath.
