A short walk from Ludlow town centre, The Charlton Arms provides attractive rooms and fine dining on the Ludford Bridge. This Shropshire pub is just 10 minutes’ walk from the medieval Ludlow Castle. Each room has a TV, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite bath or shower, with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The Charlton Arms breakfast menu includes locally made sausages and bacon, smoked salmon and eggs from the Clun Valley, all served in the dining room overlooking the River Teme. A full dinner menu featuring a range of chargrilled steaks and exquisite desserts is accompanied by a varied wine list. Known for its innovative food scene, Ludlow lies to the south of the Shropshire Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ironbridge Gorge and the historic county town of Shrewsbury are both around 45 minutes’ drive from the town.
