North Yorks Bus That Gives A Whole New Meaning To ‘Coach House’ Holiday Home One of the most unusual holiday homes In North Yorkshire has just opened at Dromonby Grange Farm just minutes from Stokesley. It’s an imaginatively reconverted 21-year-old ‘bus’ that now boasts two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles) and all mod cons including central heating, a fitted kitchen, shower room, desk, and relaxing lounge. It also boasts the super cute ‘The Squirrel Hut’ which kids will simply go nuts about. The Squirrel Hut can sleep three or can be used as a ‘BBQ hut’ with its in- built central BBQ pit and there’s easy wheelchair access to it. The ’BUS STOP’ which was originally built by Tident Cummins in Lancashire and once carried up to 87 passengers, has been converted over the past year by Dave Kelly who also built ‘The Squirrel Hut’ from scratch and it’s parked in a leafy lawn setting with magnificent views of the Hambleton Hills and the adjoining paddock with beautiful horses. It’s ideal for families visiting the area who want to stay to remember.
