North Cornwall can be reached within the hour. Swallows Rest has been extensively renovated to a high standard with generously proportioned living space throughout the cottage. As you enter the cottage, you will find an open plan kitchen and dining area, equipped with kitchen accessories as well as an induction oven and microwave. The family dining table seats 6, with the dining rooms' French doors opening onto the courtyard and garden. Beyond the dining room, lies a spacious living room perfect for unwinding in the evening watching the 50 inch smart TV (personal log-ins to access your own apps) There is good broadband coverage throughout the cottage if you bring your own smart devices. The 1st floor is accessed from the dining room, as you head up the staircase you will find a landing, where on the right, a large master bedroom awaits with an ensuite and walk in dressing room. Turning left along the landing you will find both a double room with king-size bed, desk and clothes hanger and a single room, with a single bed -perfect for a child. There is a large family bathroom with a bath and walk in shower. The cottage is fully heated including underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and radiators in each of the bedrooms and towel rails in the bathroom and en-suite. Outside the cottage there is a pretty courtyard area with a 6 seater garden table that captures the morning sun perfectly for your breakfast tea or coffee. There is a small grassed area, and its all completely enclosed for your privacy.

Widegates is 4 miles from the pretty fishing village of Looe. There is a small farm shop and cafe 1.5 miles(driving is safer) In Looe here is a wealth of cafes and restaurants to pick from and the sandy beach is popular with families. There is a mainline station at Liskeard and St Germans, both 4 miles away. At Liskeard there is a Morrisons and Aldi supermarket. 12 miles away at Saltash you have Waitrose and Lidl. The cottage is ideally suited to reach Fowey, Eden Project and Plymouth in around 30 minutes. Further afield, visiting Newquay, Watergate Bay, Padstow can all be reached in an hour by car.
