A 17th century woolmerchants house In the heart of Painswick village and strides from our bistro and pub. Perfect for Cotswold Way walkers.
We enjoy the bustle of comings and goings at our family home. We are country people with dogs and wellies in the hall. My husband loves fly fishing and making cider and love teaching English and filling the house with friends and family. We are all passionate about the environment and have been part of the Green Toursim scheme since its role out in English in 2006.
Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold stone Wool village on the Western edge of the Cotswolds famous for its pretty winding streets and Yew Trees in the church yard. From the Painswick Beacon above the village there is a terrific view. You can see across the Severn to the Brecon Beacons and up to the Malvern hills and down to the Severn Bridges in Bristol. We are encircled by fabulous walking trails and just a few minutes walk up the hill are the famous Rococo Gardens. We have a great local pub, much loved bistro and wonderfully posh Painswick Hotel restaurant along with a few quirky shops.
