Soldiers Cottage is a lovely homely cottage with one bedroom; fold up beds are available if you wanted to bring up to 2 children. The property is dog friendly, so please don't forget your furry friend(s). FREE WIFI - Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Hot Tub for relaxing after those long walks The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen We have a lovely little garden for sitting out and taking in the view, chicken wired fence to discourage your dogs from escaping! You also have your own parking place next to the cottage. 20 mins from the Brecon Beacons, the beautiful Hay-on-Wye is nearby, and the City of Hereford is 15 minutes away! We have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs.
Hi hubby and I have a lovely lodge in Devon that we rent out , and we enjoy this, so decided to open our little cottage for guests now. We own a wedding business, but decided to semi retire on this so we can work on our holiday homes Myself and Phil will be here when you need us, we live in the house next to the cottage, and will be around most of the time, we may pop out during the day. If you are in a hurry and don’t have time to get food in, we can either offer a breakfast and evening meal at an additional cost.
Our village is a lovely little village with views of the Black Mountains, it has a pub, a shop and a park which is fun for dogs and children. We are local to many more pubs a short drive away and you can even enjoy cider tasting and ice cream making about 15 mins away. Hereford City Centre is 15 mins drive, and here you can visit our wonderful cathedral, and see the Mappa Mundi. Hereford is a lovely city, with plenty of shops. Hay-on-Wye and Brecon Beacons are just 25 mins away There is plenty of parking in the city and we do have a bus service from our village. We have plenty of good walking routes, and the cottage has all the information you need to explore the local area.
