Skye Eco Bells is an Eco Glamping site on the Isle of Skye. The 3 Cabins are located in an off-grid site with individual fire pits and 2 acres woodland. Each cabin, sleeps 2 people in a double bed and features a barbecue area. Guests have access to a shared equipped kitchen and dining area. The site is off-grid so has no electricity or WiFi and phone signal is limited. There is a shared greenhouse shower and composting toilet. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Walking and hiking can be enjoyed nearby. Portree is 22 miles from the cabin.

Skye Eco Bells is a unique Eco Glamping site on the Isle of Skye. We only have 3 Cosy Cabins to keep the site small so you can enjoy some tranquility and time to relax and unwind whilst having a great base to explore all of Skye. If you're looking for a digital detox then Skye Eco Bells is the place for you. The site has no electricity or WiFi so you can really disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with the important things.......each other and the stunning natural landscape around you. 3G and 4G can sometimes be picked up if necessary. The furnished cosy cabins sleep 2 people in a double bed. Sit by your outdoor fire pit after exploring the beauty of Skye or relax in the comfort of your cabin warmed by the wood burning stove. Composting toilets, the unique greenhouse shower and sociable communal, cosy kitchens, the Hub and the Shack are all part of the off grid experience. Skye Eco Bells is also home to a flock of friendly free range hens who happily provide delicious eggs for our guests to buy.
We built Skye Eco Bells ourselves around an ethos of sustainability and care for the environment. It was a conscious decision to keep the site off-grid and disconnected from the internet to allow people to truly unwind and relax without the distractions of modern devices. Many of our guests have told us that their visit to Eco Bells was the most re-energising experience they've had. We endeavoured to create this beautiful haven using as much recycled and upcycled material as possible to minimise our environmental impact. Our cosy cabins and Bell tent are nestled within a woodland which we began planting in 2013 to improve the biodiversity of the land and help offset the carbon footprint of our business. We are passionate about the outdoors and about Skye and its incredible natural environment. We both spend as much time as possible in the outdoors whether it is running, cycling, mountaineering, wild swimming from the nearby beach or landscape photography. If you need any advice about where to visit or what to do, just ask us. We know our island very well.
Orbost is a stunning, secluded community in the North West of the Isle of Skye and makes the perfect base to explore all that this beautiful island has to offer from film location landscapes to historic and prehistoric attractions. The glampsite is regularly visited by a variety of wildlife from Golden Eagle and Sea Eagle to red deer and foxes as well as being patrolled by our friendly flock of free range hens. We are only 3 miles from the village of Dunvegan which has a well stocked village store, greengrocers, petrol station, restaurant, bakery, cafes and of course Dunvegan Castle and Gardens. The Coral Beach and Neist Point are also a short drive away.
