There is a Sainsbury’s local and a pharmacy in Ewell Village and in Stoneleigh. There is also an Aldi store at 379-393 Kingston Rd- KT19 0BS. All online Supermarkets will deliver to the house. Just make sure that you order your time slot with a substantial margin in case your arrival is delayed. Ewell village The village is lovely with some nice restaurants. We recommend Ristorante Amalfi for Italian, the Spring Tavern and traditional British/Continental and The Rambling Pig. There are also many decent Indian restaurants in the area. The village also has some nice Tea rooms and a Costa Coffee. To get to the village, just leave the house, turn right on Meadow Walk and keep walking straight ahead. When you get to the pub Eight Bells, keep to the right and you will soon see the Spring Tavern and the rest of the Village. Kingston Upon Thames Easiest way to get to Kingston is by bus. There are several nice restaurants in Kingston. During Summer and spring we do recommend dining by the river. Côte is a very nice and reasonably priced French restaurant. The Bishops is a Gastro Pub that is very nice located right on the River Thames. For Coctails- please visit Incognito Coctail Bar- its wonderful and great fun! Parks There are several nice parks in the area If you want to explore. The nearest is our own meadows. Parks worth visiting in the area is: Nonsuch Park, Epsom Downs, Epsom Common, Horton Park, Wimbledon Commons and Richmond Park. Stoneleigh Station, West Ewell Station for trains.
