The Lodge has private easy 24 hour access via the garden. Patio area with chairs for al fresco dining. Sleeps 4 in a Double bed and a double futon sofa-bed. Based near the wonderful St Catherine's Hill in Christchurch, the Lodge is an ideal base for exploring all the nearby award winning beaches in Bournemouth, Christchurch town and Harbour, the Purbecks and the New Forest. We are close to the airport and walking distance (20mins) to Christchurch train station. The Lodge is an open plan self contained space with a double bed and Futon Sofa bed. It sleeps four in two double beds. We welcome families, couples and friends, however please note if both beds are used the living space is less and ask you to be aware of this for extended stays if you have older children or if there are more adults than 2. You will have full access to the Lodge 24 hours, through the garden of the main house (but with its own private entrance). We have an EV charger available to charge your electric car (charges will apply). Full kitchen facilities with cooker, electric hob, built in larder fridge freezer, microwave and kettle with tea and coffee provided. The shower room has a walk in shower with loo, bidet and sink. There is a log burner (with wood provided). Please note whilst children and pets are welcome the log burner is only protected with a small guard. Dogs are very welcome in the lodge - we do ask that they are not left alone in the lodge when you go out and be mindful of the fact we also have a lively cocker spaniel (who loves to say hello if you are keen!) and also we have a rabbit in a hutch close to the house. Next to the lodge is a firepit which you are welcome to use in the evenings.

Hi, we are a family of five with children aged 9 to 14 (plus a lively Cocker spaniel and a rabbit!) who love living in Dorset! We moved from Surrey only a few years ago and are still exploring the area ourselves so have lots of recommendations to give you! We look forward to welcoming you to our Lodge; we offer a flexible, self check in and are available in person or via mobile during your stay. We will of course welcome to you our property but will very much leave you alone! We will provide a house manual and will be on hand for any recommendations in the local area.

Dorset's Christchurch offers the perfect solution with a choice of award-winning beaches, nature reserves, heritage attractions and a charming Quay. Two picturesque rivers, a stunning natural harbour full of watersports and wonderful beaches offer the ideal holiday playground. The historic Priory Church and Castle ruins help give an olde world charm to the attractive, bustling town centre with its range of independent shops, high street stores and regular markets. The beautiful beaches of Bournemouth and Poole are only a short drive away and the Lodge provides the perfect base to visit further afield along the Jurassic Coast or take advantage of the many walks and bikes rides available in the New Forest. So whether you love the water, walking, exploring or are simply looking for a place to relax there really is something for everyone! We would recommend a car to make experience in the local area but there are many bus routes nearby.
