Located in the heart of the historic village of Cotgrave, this cottage gives guests comfortable and cosy accommodation. The property has a traditionally beamed ceiling in the living room. There is a comfortable downstairs bedroom at the front and 2 linked-bedrooms upstairs. There is a hallway and large kitchen-diner that is well-equipped. The bathroom has a level access shower. There is a sunny raised cottage-garden to the rear. Although there are steps to property, it has been adapted for people of limited mobility.

By offering a comfortable, home-stay experience in a traditional cottage, we aim to make your stay an enjoyable one. and offer a more relaxed accommodation, where you can do things at your pace.

Cotgrave was known as the friendliest village in Nottinghamshire and we think that is still true. The cottage is located in the old part of the village and it is a lovely location. The village is very well served by amenities. It is close to Nottingham (just 15minutes away with regular bus trips) but has a rural feel and is the gateway to the Vale of Belvoir. There is unending tranquil countryside to explore. There are fantastic local walks including the country park, Grantham Canal or the extensive woodlands around the village. The only 36 hole golf course is just a mile away, whilst Home Pierrepont Water Sports facility just 3 miles away. Trent Bridge and the City Ground are just 25 minutes away. The excellent road network means you are 15 minutes from the historical market town of Newark, 25 minutes from the foody markets of Melton Mowbray of 25 minutes from the famous curry houses of Belgrave Leicester. For fishermen the famous River Trent is close by.
