The property is situated in a beautifully refurbished converted farm steading. It has 3 bedrooms; a master with a king size bed, ensuite and dressing room and 2 spacious twin bedrooms. There is also a double sofa bed located in the large lounge, allowing Osborne Steading to accommodate up to eight people if required. The property boasts a fully fitted kitchen, 2 bathrooms with baths and showers, and downstairs cloakroom, off street parking and attractive back garden with a deck area with views over St Andrews and the sea. In the garden you will find outdoor seating, a barbeque and access to the fantastic fields where you can walk your dog safely and enjoy the spectaculer views over the whole of St Andrews and beyond. We want to ensure that you can enjoy all the comforts of home during your break so we have provided large smart television complete with a full SKY HD + package and Netflix, Blu Ray/DVD Player and Wii games console as well as a large selection of family DVD’s, Blu rays and Wii games. The cottage also has complimentary high speed wifi, and a bluetooth speaker as well as a large selection of toys and games for all ages.
St Andrews is famously known around the world as the Home of Golf. Everybody has heard of the Old Course, but there are ten other courses as well! St Andrews Links Trust: Despite their hallowed reputation, the links here are public golf courses, open to all. An Act of Parliament in 1974 created the St Andrews Links Trust to preserve and enhance these public golfing rights. The Trust currently operates six courses on the links – the world-renowned Old Course, the New Course (established in 1895), the Jubilee (1897), the Eden (1914), the Strathtyrum (1993) and the nine-hole Balgove. A seventh – The Castle Course – has been built in a panoramic coastal setting to the south of the town. If the St Andrews Links courses are not enough, St Andrews also boasts four others of the highest quality: the challenging Duke’s Course which lies just inland of the town, the spectacular Kittocks and Torrance Courses at the Fairmont St Andrews, and the stunning Kingsbarns Golf Links.
