The Barn and The Loft are both brilliantly located for events at Donington Park. It's just a 10 minute walk to the main entrance. The Barn is divided into a separate bedroom, with en-suite shower room (electric shower and heated towel rail). There is plenty of clothes storage and a comfy king-size bed. The blackout lined curtains will help you get a good night's sleep. The open plan living space includes a full kitchen: kettle, toaster, four-ring ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge / freezer and there are plenty of glasses, plates etc. There is seating for four people at the dining table and a large sofa and separate armchair. There is a TV/DVD and Wifi (super-fast broadband) as well as a wood burning stove with enough logs supplied to keep you going for a night or two. The Barn has fantastic views of our garden and its wildlife including birds, ducks and moorhens. The Loft is a great base for one or two people to stay comfortably. This one-bed, well-equipped self-contained studio is built in the eaves of our garage building and has kitchen / eating area, shower room, TV and superfast broadband. The space is divided into a bedroom area with adjacent shower room (with electric shower). There is hanging and drawer space to make yourself at home and a comfy king-size bed. The windows have black out lining to help you get a good night's sleep. The living space is 'open plan', with a kitchen that features kettle, toaster, hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, as well as plenty of glasses, plates and cooking equipment. Please note that The Loft is built within the eaves of our garage building. It feels spacious but guests should be advised that, as would be expected in a roof space, the ceilings do slope. We are happy for guests to bring their pets to enjoy The Barn but please note that we make an additional charge of 25 pounds per pet per stay. Pets are NOT permitted in The Loft.

The Barn and The Loft at Ambro Mill are both self-contained self-catering spaces in the ten-acre grounds of our home. Guests are free to come and go as you please during your stay and relax in the beautiful surroundings of our garden and the South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire countryside. Guests are free to use the garden space but please be advised we might be in it too!

The Barn and The Loft are uniquely located within walking distance of Donington Park, making it the perfect base if you're attending any of the motorsport or music events at the circuit, including Download. Access via the Main Entrance is just 10 minutes' walk from the end of the drive. We have space available to park car trailers or motorbikes, should you be racing at Donington Park and want somewhere to park up ahead of or after your race day. The Cloud Trail - a walking and cycle track that runs from Worthington into Derby - is less than five minutes' walk from The Barn and there are lots of other local walking routes you can enjoy while staying here. Our local pub, The Bulls Head in Wilson, is a 15 minute walk away. The larger villages of Melbourne and Castle Donington are close by and offer a great selection of restaurants, pubs and bars. The Barn is close to East Midlands Airport - it's less than three miles away - and although we aren't able to offer transfers to the airport, we can happily recommend local taxi firms who can help you with this.
