Hi, this property is a detached building away from the main house but in the same grounds. It is newly converted and super clean with one double bedroom with en suite shower room. There is living area which has a kitchen, a flat screen TV, sofa with draws underneath for storage and a bistro table with 2 chairs which can be used for meals and as a desk for a laptop. Please note property is self catering and we do not provide any food or drink. The bedroom has a small wardrobe and 2 bedside tables. Bags can be stored under the bed. The shower room has a heated towel rail. There also a cupboard which contains ironing board, clothes dryer and cleaning materials. There is underfloor heating in the main area and the shower room is heated with the towel heater/radiator. The annex is suitable for someone on business in the Dunfermline area or on holiday or on the way to the Highlands and north of Scotland. There are many local places to go to along the Fife Coastal path, not to mention the rich history of Dunfermline - the Abbey, the Palace and Andrew Carnegie
The reason we host is that we enjoy meeting a diverse range of people. Generally we leave our guests alone to enjoy their stay, but are here if you need us. The annex contains everything that we would like to have but if there is anything missing please notify us and we will try to help during your stay or at least provide it for a future guest.
In the immediate area, there is a mini Tesco which is open from 6-11 and is pretty well stocked. At the Fife Leisure park there is a gym, cinema, bowling, crazy golf, many places to eat. Dunfermline town centre has enough shops to cater for most requirements. There is a main shopping street and a covered shopping centre with many eateries. There is the wonderful Pittencrief Park which has some amazing plant and trees and a coffee shop. There is the newly built award winning library. Other lovely places to see are Aberdour, with the lovely café at Silver Sands, Dalgety Bay, Walk over the Forth bridge from North Queensferry to South Queensferry, Culross, Burntisland …..
