Situated on a working farm in Trudoxhill village in the Somerset countryside, Mollies Huts offers adult-only accommodation in traditional shepherd’s huts. Candles and lanterns are provided for lighting. Longleat House and Safari Park is just 3 miles away. The hut features wooden floor and wood-panelled walls. Guests will have access to a private bathroom, which is located a 2-minute walk from the huts. There is also a wood-burning stove, and dry logs are provided. Tea, coffee, homemade marmalade, bread, and butter are provided. BBQ facilities are also available. Free-range eggs, bacon, and ingredients for a full English breakfast are provided for guests, and each hut features a well-equipped kitchen. Please be aware that it is a 2-minute walk (150 paces) from the huts to the bathroom and kitchen. It is not possible to drive directly to the huts. Frome is 5 miles away. The National Trust Stourhead House is 8 miles away. Frome Railway Station is just 4.8 miles away.

Mollies Hut is situated behind the main house, in a 6 acre paddock, Maud's Hut is situated in the far corner. So both huts are completely private. This is a working farm, so depending on the time of year, you may see lambing in progress, donkeys and horses are kept in the paddock between the huts. Guests will have a short walk through the field to the huts.
I love meeting the guests and making them feel completely at home. My husband and daughter are vets and we all run the family veterinary practice opposite our house. I'm always available to advise about the local area and look forward to meeting guests.
