Stirling is steeped in history and there's so much to do and see...Here are a few attractions we recommend whilst visiting. Stirling Castle, Argyll Lodgings an the magnificent Church of the Holy Rude are just around the corner from the apartment. Mar's Wark is located at the top of Broad Street itself. The spectacular Wallace Monument is a 5 min car drive or 15 by bus. There are nightly Ghost Walks which tell tales of a few famous ghosts of "Old Stirling". The Castle Hotel & Restaurant located at the foot of the castle steps do lovely meals with a great selection of gins, ales and a roaring fireplace!! Stirling's Oldest & Most Haunted pub "The Settle Inn" is located on St. Mary's Wynd, (5 mins walk from apartment) Nicky Tams Beer n Bothy offer lovely delicious meals with live music on a Monday & Wednesday night and also between 4-6 pm on a Saturday, this pub is also haunted!! Why not hop on a train to either Glasgow or visit our Capital city Edinburgh, Stirling train station have regular services.
