Marmalade Barn was aptly named as she sits on the edge of Orange Lane. The Marmalade Barn guest suite is based in a recently converted old milking parlour. Your room, which includes a Super-King bed with comfortable 'Emma' mattress, is on the lane with it own access, large wet room ensuite, with self-contained facilities, fridge, microwave, kettle toaster etc, Tea/coffee/sugar shall be in your room to get you settled in. Just 6 miles from Cannock Chase, 4 miles from Rugeley Town Center and Trent Valley Train Station, 7 miles to Uttoxeter Race Course and just a 7 minute car ride to Hoar Cross Hall awarding winning Health Spa. Once you have booked - self Check-in details shall be automatically emailed to you. You can park directly outside your door. If you are booking to arrive after 9pm - just drop us a message to let us know to expect you at that time. This is a peaceful area and many guests comment on getting a good night’s sleep. I am an experienced Property Manager, sharing for the first time a large space in our own home. My husband and I were very much involved in the development and renovation of our 'old milking parlour' so we know it inside and out and top to bottom! In rural Staffordshire and 2 minutes drive from the historic village of Abbots Bromley, the Marmalade Barn Guest Suite enjoys open countryside with country pubs and cafes within a few minutes drive. Immediately across the lane is a footpath with another footpath further up the lane for those who wish to explore the area on foot. You can experience the calls of the tawny owl, pheasants and deer all in the area. We are also within easy reach of Uttoxeter, Rugeley town centre, Trent Valley Train Station, Cannock Chase and Hoar Cross Hall Health Spa. If you are looking for the Country pub atmosphere look no further than the historic Meynell Ingram Arms (7 min drive) which serves excellent food in the bat or restaurant setting with fabulous outdoor seating for those summer months.
