Honeypot Hideaways is a luxury glamping pod site. There are just 3 pods on site, expertly crafted using sustainable Siberian larch via a local company - Hive Pods. The boutique features of the interior make them a cosy home from home with comfy double beds, a TV, full ensuite with a shower. kitchen and central heating. Outside is your own personal patio area with a picnic table, reclining chairs and a BBQ, all with acres of farm land right in front of you - no cars, buses or roads - just the sound of birdsong. Its all the advantages of camping and the outdoors, but in comfort and style. On your doorstep are bridleways, cycling trails and footpaths, as well as tracks in the hills, a lake, forests or beaches (being so close to the A55, the north Wales coast is 45 minutes' drive or so from the site). It is a relaxed and peaceful site for adults but accompanied children over 16 are permitted. There is a clic clac sofa bed for a 3rd guest and its OK for a guest to pitch a small tent next to the pod that has been booked. The site discourage loud music or those seeking a more party atmosphere in respect of other guests enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the nature around them.

There are 3 nearby villages. All have diverse country pubs for those tasty meals out, cafés for quicker bites and local shops / Co-Op when you'd rather take advantage of the pod's fully-fitted kitchen with its own sink, a two-ring induction hob, microwave and a fridge-freezer. For golfers, visit Padeswood and Buckley Golf Club, with a further three golf clubs in Chester. For water lovers, Park in the Past is a recent venture set around a large man-made lake where you can wild swim or kayak. It is also a wildlfe sanctuary and takes about an hour to walk around. Chester is a 20 minute drive - once a Roman city, it's surrounded by a city wall. Treat yourself to Chester Races or the world famous Chester Zoo, or just relax by (or on) the river Dee for a different view of the city too. If your mind is set on the seaside, the North Wales coastline includes places like Conway, Llandudno and Rhyl (45 - 60 minutes) giving you everything from medieval castles and marina's to beaches and theatres. Mountain biking and hikes, and other outdoor sports abound and Snowdonia National Park is about 1.15 hours with the fastest Zipline in the world.
