A modern, well equipped two bedroom barn conversion set in the peaceful village of Great Urswick in South Lakes - 5 mins from the market town of Ulverston, 20 mins to the South end of Lake Windermere, 30 mins from M6 Junction 36. Hideaway offers a great base for exploring the Lake District and South Cumbria - the perfect retreat for a relaxing family getaway or romantic stay. Hideaway offers superfast Wi-Fi, modern open plan living - downstairs - Lounge/Kitchen/Dining Area. High spec kitchen with new Bosch integrated appliances including Induction hob, integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, air fryer and ground coffee machine. In the lounge area there's a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa with a 55'' Smart TV, Netflix & Alexa Sonos Soundbar, colour changing lighting control to set the mood, electric blinds and underfloor Heating. Also downstairs there's a WC & a utility room with a washer/dryer. Master bedroom has a beautiful crushed velvet king size bed, window shutters, built in mirrored wardrobes, 43'' Smart TV - a beautiful, luxury en-suite bathroom with a compact freestanding bath along with a built in bathroom TV. Bedroom 2 is a twin - 2 single beds, built in mirrored wardrobes, 43'' Smart TV, electric Velux roof lights and blinds. Luxury Ensuite - with walk in shower.
You will have total privacy - check yourself in with keys left in a key safe with the code emailed to you. Although there's no outside space we hope the inside space more than makes up for this. There is parking for 1 vehicle directly outside the front of the property. Please note our parking space can only accommodate medium sized vans such as Transit Customs and VW Transporters - we are unable to accommodate large commercial vehicles.
Great Urswick is a peaceful south Lakeland village conveniently located close to the market town of Ulverston as well as Bardsea Beach. Hideaway is only a 5 minute walk to the cozy village pub - The General Burgoyne offers lovely food and drink. 5 minute walk to the village playground. 5 minute drive to the market town of Ulverston - a fantastic unique town - with independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. 5 minute drive to several supermarkets. Bowness on Windermere and the heart of the Lake District is approximately 30 minute drive. Keen walkers have the entire Lake District on their doorstep aswell as plenty of quiet public footpaths straight out of the front door. South Lakes Safari Zoo is only a 10 minute drive away.
