A 5-minute walk from Ambleside and a mile from Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England, this charming guest house was originally 2 separate Victorian cottages. It specialises in home-cooked food and offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Haven Cottage still retains traditional old features like wooden beams and feature fireplaces. Most rooms benefit from picturesque mountain views, and all feature a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
