3.8 miles from Ballycastle, this house which has been in Richards family for 200 years is in the heart of serene Glenshesk which is tranquil and uncommercialized . Time spent here is peaceful and calming allowing you a chance to decompress, ,unwind and unplug. There are amazing views and perfect for retreats . Outdoor yoga is an option. This is a large farmhouse with a cosy warm kitchen, an AGA and a dining table which seats 8 people comfortably. On summer evenings you can avail of the wonderful outside area with seating and BBQ set up. Or if it's cooler, retire to the comfortable lounge, enjoy socializing with your party in front of the real fire. The house sleeps 10, with 4 large rooms, comprised of 3 with double beds and large family bathroom in the hall, and one with 1 double and 2 single beds and bathroom. There is an option for an extra room on request. Please note this is a farmhouse and cat and dog are in and around the premises. Please note for small parties ie 1 to 2 rooms the host will remain resident in a bottom room whilst guests have the rest of the house to themselves. Please be advised that on the Lammas fair weekend until Tuesday I will be resident in a bottom bedroom. 24/08/24 until 27/08/24. Thankyou.

Its a large house with lovely mountain views at the end of a quiet road where guests can be by themselves. There is also a farm shop on site where you can pre-order and purchase the farm's very own speciality dry aged meats. perfect for your BBQ or dinner including beef, lamb or pork, all born reared and produced on farm. Richard will have the BBQ fired and ready to cook on request. Fresh milk from the local farm diary is provided for your stay. A welcome of bacon and sausages from our farm shop awaits you on arrival.
It is a 5 minute drive to Ballycastle seafront and close to all tourist attractions, such as the Giants Causeway, Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge, Fair Head , Murlough ,Torr Head , Ora mountain , Breen Ancient Oak Wood . Ballycastle retains a warm friendly and personable feel, with plenty of pubs eateries, music, festivals and intimacy.
