Located less than a 5 minute walk from the heart of bath, 50 metres off Great Pulteney Streeta and the famous Pulteney Bridge. All within 5 mins walking distance to the Roman Baths, restaurants, museums, parks, canal walks, theatre , the Rec Rugby ground and Pubs yet a quiet residential street. The property is a 1400 sq ft, 2 floor maisonette in a Grade 1 listed 240 year old Georgian building that has recently been refurbished throughout. There is a 2 car loading zone within 10 metres to offload luggage and there is always a parking spot within a 100M or so. Please note ; The house is a Grade 1 listed property and approximately 240 years old. It is a historical private home (once the home of Moses Pickwick of Charles Dickens fame) and not a modern hotel although it has been recently completely renovated inside with a new kitchen and new bathroom with walk in shower. A second washroom/toilet is on the lower floor. The house also has a new kitchen and dining area along with a seperate lounge room with large TV. And of course free WiFi! There are 10 steep stairs down from the road to a private entrance which may not be suitable for those with serious ambulatory issues or the very elderly.
We're a British/Australian family with 3 kids. We've lived in Asia for many years, and travelled extensively, so we know the challenges of finding good family accommodation. We moved to Bath in mid 2021 to enjoy this beautiful city. We hope we have created a lovely and cosy family house for you to enjoy.
You are in the heart of Bath and no more than a few minutes walk from most attractions, places of interest, shops, restaurants and Supermarkets. We can offer free parking for one car but you really won't need it!
