Simon and I have spent the last three years sympathetically renovating what was an old calf shed and milking parlour to provide two relaxing country retreats for short breaks or longer stays. I recently retired from teaching to carry out the vision we had over ten years ago when we bought the farm. For those of you that like to walk, there are many public footpaths as well as canal towpaths which wind along the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Situated in the grounds of Finwood Green Farm, The Calf Shed and The Milk Parlour have been lovingly furnished and decorated to create cosy but luxurious self-catering retreats away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located in a quiet corner of the farm, they have lovely countryside views and their own outdoor space to dine out and enjoy the fresh air. The Calf Shed The open plan living area provides a calm relaxing space to unwind. Escape the stress of urban life and sit peacefully with a book or chat around the table with your friends or family. The property has two bedrooms, a smaller one on the ground floor and a larger one on the first floor. They both boast super-king beds for your comfort (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) and crisp cotton sheets for that extra indulgence and holiday luxury. You will also have your own en-suite shower room for added privacy. The Milk Parlour A spacious single storey cottage with a large open plan living area which defines sophistication and comfort. There is a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of room to sit and chat around the island or relax on the sofa overlooking the countryside. The cottage has two bedrooms of similar size with super-king beds (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) and en-suite shower rooms for your privacy. The Milk Parlour also welcomes one well-behaved dog (there is an additional charge for this).

Lowsonford is a sleepy village in the heart of Warwickshire. It is also home to the Fleur de Lys pub, famous for its pies. The pub is on the Stratford upon Avon canal which runs through the village and is a 10 minute walk from the property. The surrounding area boasts relaxing walks within a rural setting. Or you may wish to visit Stratford upon Avon, Leamington or Warwick, just a short drive away. There are also a number of National Trust sites close by.
