Especially, as it has its own private off-street parking space 70m away! Inside, you’ll find a cosy, calming living space with all luxe fittings and a sleek, new, fully equipped fitted kitchen. The bathroom is huge for a house this size. With a double-ended bath and walk-in shower, it’s a haven. While we’ve been careful to retain its original features, almost everything has been transformed to enhance your comfort and maximise your downtime here in Shrewsbury. Step into the living room and you’ll discover large Edwardian stained-glass windows complimented by a plush 4-seater sofa, a suede tub chair and a 43” Samsung 4K Smart TV and soundbar. Decorated in calming tones and classic wood panelling, it feels intensely snug. The kitchen has all the holiday essentials, including a Bosch washing machine, AEG microwave, and AEG dishwasher. While the separate dining room has a rich, intimate feel with its thickly lined curtains and upholstered chairs. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super king bed that can be separated into two single beds upon request. A Victorian-style nickel king bed dominates the second bedroom. Its VI-spring mattress rests luxuriously high off the floor (although it may be a little tall for some). Luxury bedding, cotton bath towels, and bathmats are supplied along with complimentary toiletries. The walled courtyard is a suntrap and makes a pleasant spot for a morning espresso. From here you can enter the side road which leads to the private off-street car parking space approx. 70 metres away. To help prevent parties there's a Minut noise monitor in the living room, which issues an alert if noise levels consistently exceed 75db. It’s not a recording device.

Our townhouse is situated in Frankwell, a quiet & friendly conservation area just across the riverbank from Shrewsbury centre. It’s perfectly placed for enjoying the medieval town’s sights, independent shops, and excellent restaurants, but is pleasantly removed from the bustle. Theatre Severn and the bridge into Shrewsbury are less than a minute’s walk away. Just beyond, lies the Quarry, a beautiful and expansive riverside park and many of the town’s finest riverside pubs and restaurants.
