  • Is there secure overnight storage for a bicycle or can it be taken to the room?

    Hi there, there is a ground floor room which you can take your bike into and we woukd try and allocate that room for you. Alternatively our other property the Trout Fly has a walked back garden for you to store your bike overnight

  • Good Morning Can I ask are there buses to the ferry terminal of Jura and other parts of Islay as I am not coming by car? Many thanks for any help or suggestions

    Hi there. There are buses which run every day apart from Sunday. This means that most distilleries are accessible this way.. The exceptions are Bunnahabhain, Ardnahoe and Kilchoman. The bus also runs to and from Port Askaig

  • Hello, I understand that breakfast is not included, right? Is there a way of ordering it once there? If so, can you tell me how much it is please, and if you offer a vegan option? Many thanks

    You are right, I operate the Trout Fly as well and we offer breakfast there for an additional charge of £10 per person. I think I’ve already covered our vegan options there. Cheers

Guest House in the centre of Port Ellen with three en suite twin rooms all at the front of the building with views overlooking Port Ellen bay. Property is managed by the owners of the Trout Fly Guest House which is two minutes away. Breakfast or breakfast rolls can be arranged from the Trout Fly at an additional cost
