Edale is as much our home as it is a Bed and Breakfast, we took over the business in 2017 and have since developed it to incorporate a dedicated cycle storage which is Steel Bared, CCTV, alarmed and security lit. Peter is a fully trained cycle mechanic and has a workshop on site and there is a dedicated wash cycle area with cycle stand. For walkers we offer a large selection of guides and maps, drying area and boot room- at the rear of the property is the cycle path to PedalBikeAway ( cannop cycle centre) which is a 3 miles ride on cycle paths- walkers will find Nagshead Nature Reserve 600yds from us and numerous walking routes.

We are a 6 bedroom award winning 4* Bed and Breakfast. Edale House is a Georgian House situated in Parkend, Gloucestershire about 15 minutes from Lydney and the A48 from Gloucester to Chepstow. we offer 6 flexible rooms made up of Twins and Doubles. A fully cooked English breakfast is served from 8 to 8.45am we offer our 2 ground floor rooms for dog owner by prior arrangements and make a nominal charge for there stay Check in time is from 4:30pm to 6:30pm unless by prior arrangement but no later than 9pm

We are lucky to have the Woodman Inn next door to us and the Fountain Inn across the village green that both offer excellent food- it is very advisable to book as they both get very busy. The Parkend Steam Railway starts at the village centre, Nagshead Nature reserve is 600yds away. We have a local Post Office and coffee shop along with Dean Forest Cycle and there cafe providing numerous types of cycles to hire along with Electric Bikes.
