Our lodges are just the latest addition to Drumcarrow but our story dates back to 1956 when our family ran a dairy, arable and sheep farm. Our family has worked on this land for over six decades, enjoying the location and scenery - day in and day out. And now, we are so excited to share with you. Back in 1956, our family took over the land at Drumcarrow and began farming. First operating as a dairy farm and later making the move to sheep and arable. We are now in their 4th generation of the family, working on the land and developing the family business. Since the beginning, our family’s values have been at the centre of everything we have done: our reputation means everything, and the family always strives for the highest quality and service. Since 1998, we have run one of the country’s best equestrian centres, boasting state-of-the-art facilities. Drumcarrow Equestrian Centre is a world-class showjumping stable with livery facilities utilised by students from around the world studying at the nearby University of St. Andrews. Now run by brothers Angus and Stephen, the centre has a riding school license to teach people all year round. There is also an onsite veterinary and reproduction centre, which is run by Selena - one of the leading reproduction vets in the country. The next chapter in the Drumcarrow story is unfolding with the introduction of the new Luxury Lodges coming in Spring 2023. We want to open up Drumcarrow’s fantastic scenery, which allows guests to see for over 50 miles, and create a great luxury accommodation offering guests the chance to relax in the country whilst also being only 1.4 miles down the road from the middle of St. Andrews.

People have been playing golf in St. Andrews for well over 600 years. Boasting the famous Old Course alongside other world class courses - we are incrediably lucky to be only just 1.4 miles away from town. The activites.
