We live in a lovely detached cottage in peaceful location on the village green, on the edge of the Cotswolds and not far from the Cotswold Way, with closest access being just 15 minutes away by car at Cranham. There’s immediate access to surrounding hills, woods and countryside. There’s great views of The Cotswolds and Malvern Hills from the House. There are easy transport links to CHELTENHAM ie 20 mins by taxi and 30 mins by bus and the Cotswolds and you can get to Bristol, Birmingham, Bath, Oxford or Cardiff in about an hour by car. Note, we have a small very friendly dog (Bichon) and they are a hypoallergenic bred without a doggy smell. We’re environmentally conscious and don’t use harsh chemical cleaning or laundry products. Breakfast is included - enjoy!
Hello I’m Rachael, a Social Worker, Mum to two young people who are both away at University and wife to Peter a Quality Manager. When I’m not working I enjoy walking with my little dog Lily on the hill, practicing yoga, singing in a community choir and rowing with a local club on Gloucester canal. I mainly work from home so look forward to chatting with you at breakfast.
The Green is a quiet part of the village with walks to Woodland Trust woods close by. The village also has a cafe, restaurants a cake shop and a village pub. We live on Churchdown Hill which is the site of an Iron Age fort and sitting atop is the historic Norman Church of St Bartholemew’s, as well as a view point allowing fabulous views of the Severn Valley, The Malvern Hills and Wales on a clear day.
