Nestled between Hulme End and the picturesque village of Hartington, where the Staffordshire Moorlands meet the Derbyshire Dales, Hartington Hills offers an idyllic rural retreat with breathtaking 360° panoramic views. Despite its peaceful, elevated setting, the site is just 0.7 miles from a welcoming pub and 1.7 miles from a range of charming village shops and cafés. Ideally located at the heart of the Peak District, guests can easily explore the region’s top attractions and beauty spots. The four major market towns—Bakewell, Ashbourne, Leek, and Buxton—are all within a 10-mile radius, while Chatsworth House and Matlock lie just 12 miles away.

Nestled on the Derbyshire and Staffordshire border, within the southern edge of the Peak District National Park, the caravans boast the best pitches on the site. From their spacious gardens and patios, to the living, dining, and kitchen areas, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside at every turn. Just steps away, our luxurious toilet and shower facilities, complete with underfloor heating, ensure your stay is as comfortable as it is picturesque. The caravans combine tasteful design with thoughtful touches for the ultimate caravanning retreat. Lovingly furnished, the curtains were handmade by Sue, the owner, and the seat cushions and pelmets were beautifully reupholstered by a local company. A recently redesigned pitch adds to its charm, creating the perfect setting for a laid-back and comfortable getaway. Inside, you’ll find a small double bed with a memory foam mattress, a feather duvet and pillows, and 100% cotton linens. Egyptian cotton towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar, and salt/pepper are all provided, along with glassware, plates, cutlery, utensils, and cookware. Cozy blankets tucked away in the wardrobe ensure extra comfort during your stay. The well-equipped kitchen features a gas oven, hob, grill, microwave, and kettle, while heating keeps the caravan cozy year-round. Though the caravan includes its own toilet, it’s just steps from our immaculate, underfloor-heated toilet and shower block. Here, you’ll enjoy power showers, a hairdryer, makeup-friendly lighting, and a full-length mirror—ensuring you stay comfortable and glamorous throughout your stay.
