Colman's of Aysgarth Town Ends, a property with a garden, is situated in Aysgarth, less than 1 km from Aysgarth Falls, 13 km from Forbidden Corner, as well as 26 km from Richmond Castle. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 38 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. All units are fitted with a flat-screen TV with streaming services, fridge, a kettle, a walk-in shower, a hair dryer and a wardrobe. At the bed and breakfast, some units are allergy-free. Matt and Clare have achieved their dream, and full bookings suggest that they’re not the only dreamers wandering the Dales for large comfy beds, towels to get lost in, Yorkshire tea and real milk in every room, handmade treats, locally sourced produce, a Yorkshire welcome and we haven’t even mentioned the views.If you want peace, tranquillity, space to unwind, lots of sheep and a place to let your imagination and your kids roam free, then this is definitely the place for you. Matt and Clare built the dream so you don’t have to.

Our guest rooms are big, bright and newly refurbished with all the mod cons you’ve come to expect and the homely touches that make it welcoming including, but not exclusive to; large comfy beds, fluffy towels, Monsoon showers and luxury surprise treats! As far as we can, we buy produce on our doorstep, locally or Yorkshire-wide if we really have to travel. Free with every room – spectacular views of Wensleydale, peace and quiet and (relatively) well behaved sheep! We have one dog friendly room in the B & B.

A short walk from Colman's of Aysgarth the River Ure tumbles over a series of broad limestone steps which are known as Aysgarth Falls. Although not particularly high the waterfalls are one of Wensleydale’s most famous beauty spots (having been featured in the Kevin Costner film “Robin Hood – Prince of Thieves”), with a pleasant riverside walk linking the Upper, Middle and Lower Falls. The footpath from Colman's of Aysgarth allows you to explore Wensleydale, Swaledale and Bishopdale. Middleham Castle - Once the childhood home of Richard III, you can relive the Castle’s illustrious history and unlock the deeds of its great owners. Although roofless, extensive remains of the fortified palace still survive, making Middleham a fascinating castle to explore. Why not also visit nearby Richmond Castle and Barnard Castle for more action packed days out in the Dales. Our delicious Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, lovingly handcrafted in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, is creamy, crumbly and full of flavour. Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese has been awarded European Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status and is the only Wensleydale cheese to be handcrafted right here in Wensleydale.
