Sedbergh is situated just 30 minutes west and is a must visit for anyone who loves the outdoors. Staying close to home and just 5 minutes away, is the picturesque village of Askrigg, steeped in Yorkshire Dales history and famous for the original filming of James Herriot's 'All Creatures Great and Small'.
