We could tell the owner put so much thought into the placement of all the items in the small space - everything was provided, and in just the right place! A snack basket was provided which included some helpful information on the local area - really appreciated all the extra touches
Located on Padstow’s busy harbor front, the 4-star Padstow Harbor Hotel features views of the town and Camel Estuary. There is a popular restaurant as well as bright, individually styled rooms.

Breakfast was fantastic. Included buffet had everything except hot food, but a wide variety of items. Location was fantastic. They made up the rooms every day without being asked. Nice coffee machine (Nespresso). Complimentary gin and tonic in the room every day. A nice touch. Slippers provided.

Imposing historic building sympathetically restored and converted, felt luxurious yet was still respectful to those in the past who'd endured very different living conditions.
It was the quietest night I've ever had in a hotel with those thick cell walls! Room spotless, bathroom great, bed comfortable .Bar and restaurant both fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.
It was thought provoking reading the plaques dotted around the hotel with historical snippets of information about the darker realities of the jail's past.
The jail experience was worth doing, interesting, well put together and good value.

The Camping site is very close to the B3314 road, which makes it very easy to find. The quiet of 10 Trehawks was quite overwhelming. It was a real oasis. The cabin is ideally situated with a restful view and other dwellings not really noticeable.
It only takes a 10 minute car drive to reach Rock, New Pozeath, Pentire, Greenaway and Daymer Bay Beaches. Wadebridge is close too, for shopping, with good choice food shops, (providing the Trewornan bridge is not shut, as it was last year in May!) On Sunday, the Connect Church, in Wadebridge has an excellent 10a.m.service.
Harbour Cove has a beautiful sandy beach.
We take our camping chairs and spend the whole day there!
No, we don't eat out! We take a picnic with us and make an evening meal in the cabin.

The Grannary was also a good lunch point .
We did visit Wadebridge inthe evening as well but felt less comfortable than the daytime - football / rugby on at the time though.

Wadebridge is a town with a good infrastructure (variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants) and well connected by bus services, if you want to walk on the Camel trail and return by bus. The Camel trail is ideal for cycling or walking.
You can quickly get to other places of interest (e.g. Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Lanhydrock House, Newquay), which makes it an ideal base for sightseeing in that particular area of Cornwall.

It is a good central area for exploring both coast and countryside. It is also close to the Cornwall County Show showground for visitors attending that event. Truro and the Cathedral are only 30 minutes away.
Exceptional property. Beautiful, SO spacious, clean, well equipped, and perfectly situated for access to the lovely town of Wadebridge and beyond. Great instructions left by host. Great communication by host and Sykes. Can't wait to come back.
The hotel was nice. The room was nice, bed was very comfortable and bathroom was lovely and spacious.
It was great to be able to use the leisure facilities and then have a drink in the bar after.
Lovely place, never been to Wadebridge before, this place is a little gem and very homely. Hosts were easy to deal with and we will be back at some point.
Thank you for a peaceful stay.
