Welcome to Blue Sky Guest House. We are located one minute walk from the seaside, approximately five minutes from the pier. Blue Sky hopes to provide you with a warm friendly home from home atmosphere. We hope to provide you with a calm base to support your enjoyment of our beautiful city of Brighton. Blue Sky was built in 1835, the same year that Hans Christian Anderson published his first book of fairy tales. This can elevate your mood as we don't have an elevator-please always check the details of your room and ask for any clarification needed prior to booking. We are located adjacent to possibly two of the best best pubs in England but we do not serve breakfast. Brighton & Hove have over 868 public houses and approximately 400 divine places to dine, so you should not be left with a grumbling tummy, and many of which are located close to Blue Sky Guest House's doorstep. Any visit to Brighton is a special occasion. Please ask if there are any details you would like us to provide for you to enhance your stay (priced accordingly). In 1835, Charles Darwin discovered the Galapagos Islands. We live a stones throw from the beach and Charles possibly once compared the view of our coastline to his famous weekend away. Some of our rooms do have oblique sea views, however, please inquire about this detail. We are proud of each and every room. However, we possibly have one of the smallest (57.87 square ft) pseudo en suite guest rooms in the world, yet also one of the largest king rooms in our beautiful city. Very close to the beach, possibly the best pub in the Brighton, the best places to eat, so close to Madeira Drive, a short walk to the many fabulous attractions in Brighton and Hove.
